Always question HSBC messages asking for personal and financial details, call the number on the back of their HSBC card or call 159 immediately if they think you’ve been scammed. They added:
- Do not reply, open any links or enter any details
- Report them by texting 7726
- Verify your account using the ‘Wallet’ app on your device.
