British women seriously injured after van cuts them off near Tenerife holiday resort | World | news

Two British women have been injured, one critically, in a crash on the holiday island of Tenerife. A woman sustained serious head injuries. The women are believed to be a mother and her daughter.

The police are now looking for the van that cut them off after picking them up on the sidewalk and the van that sped away from the scene.

It is not known whether the two women were on holiday in Tenerife and their ages have not been released.

Both were taken to hospital.

The hit-and-run happened near the Golf del Sur holiday resort in the south of the island at around 8.30pm on Sunday.

The driver is a male.

No information was provided on the condition of the two victims.
