North Korea fired a missile towards South Korean waters World | news

According to South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff, “North Korea fired an unidentified ballistic missile into the East Sea”.

According to The Independent, they said the release came on Thursday, but did not include any further details.

The launch comes just hours after North Korea’s foreign minister threatened to launch “harsh” military responses to US actions in the region.

Foreign Minister Cho Son-hye warned in a statement that the agreement at the recent US-Japan-South Korea summit would make the situation on the Korean Peninsula “unpredictable”.
