Ukraine Live: Zelensky launches UN five-point master plan to end war | World | news

President Volodymyr Zelensky Ukraine has presented a five-point plan to the UN to achieve peace and end Vladimir Putin’s invasion. His plan includes: punishing Russia for its crimes, protecting lives, restoring security and territorial integrity, ensuring security guarantees, and committing to Ukraine’s continued self-defense, all of which he described as “non-negotiable.”

President Zelensky said: “A crime has been committed against Ukraine, and we demand a fair punishment.”

He suggested that “a special court should be created to punish Russia for the crime of aggression against our state…and make Russia pay for this war with its assets.”

He also called on the UN to remove Russia’s veto rights as a member of the Security Council.
